Oven Maintenance

The operation of gas and electric oven is simple. Their maintenance is easy because the components are designed for quick disassembly.

Associated malfunction in the gas ranges involves the supply and ignition of gas in the burners and the oven. In electric oven most of the malfunctioning is associated with faulty heating elements.

Gas Oven
The heating chamber must be cleared from time to time. If their is leakage in the gas pipe it may cause explosion so the pipe must be checked on the regular basis. Other leakages in the chamber should be repaired from time to time. The burners should be cleared and if their is any damage it should be changed immediately. The door of the oven and the sealing must be checked to ensure their proper working.

Electric Oven
Most of the malfunctions that affect electric ranges involve faulty heating elements. However before disassembling the range to check or replace an element, ensure that the range is receiving power.
