The forge furnace is engineered giving high
productivity and continuous operation at forging temperatures which is
usually high. The wall and hearth are constructed in such a way that are
resistant to abrasion and shock.
The operation is made safe for the operator by providing an adjustable
refractory lined shield. The shield also covers that position of the
slot not being used. To protect the operator further an air curtain is
provided between the shield and the furnace to carry the excess heat
away. The operating burner is also safe.
Features
Following are the features of forge furnace:
- The shell of the furnace is constructed out of heavy-duty steel
plate with structural angled iron base.
- The lining of the furnace is of high quality.
- The insulation is provided with low-iron insulating fire brick
which is backed with a high quality fire brick.
- High productivity as heat loss is prevented by the insulation
system.

- Preheating
- Brazing
- Carburizing
- Carbonitriding
- Annealing etc.
