Direct Flame Incinerators

Direct Flame Incinerators
Also regarded as the simplest form of thermal oxidizers, direct flame incinerators are usually used when the gaseous effluents contain solid particles. These are exclusively used in number of complex applications, which comprises many dangerous pollutants like corrosive, explosive and poisonous. Also, they minimizes the complexity of complex applications and are very cost effective.

Construction
They are comprised with burner, mixing zone and combustion chamber. The combustion chamber needs no heat recovery from the incinerator.

Burner
This device uses an auxiliary fuel like natural gas or oil, sized to heat the incoming gas stream from the inlet temperature to the oxidation temperature.

Mixing zone
In this chamber, the heat from the burner is distributed throughout the process of gas streaming.

Combustion chamber
This chamber is made up of materials which can cope high temperature conditions. The size of combustion chamber is big enough to render sufficient retention time for the heated gases to complete their oxidation reaction
