- Boilers can produce Low Pressure Steam, High Pressure Steam, Hot
Water, High Temperature Hot Water etc. Be sure what exactly is your
need.
- Boilers are available in different sizes. You should be clear
that how big a boiler do you need and what is the actual amount of
steam or hot water is required to satisfy your needs.
- Application or purpose should be the main considerations when you
go for boilers. Boilers can be used for many purposes like space
heating, process steam, humidification etc.
- Availability of fuel, the cost of the fuel should also be the
deciding factor for your boilers. Boilers can be given energy
through Natural Gas, Fuel oil Propane, Coal, Wood or a combination
of fuels. Hence these considerations should also be not ignored.
- You should also be sure that what exactly is the type combustion
air system you would prefer. You should make the choice between
forced draft systems and the atmospheric burners.
- Venting the boiler will help you in bringing the fresh combustion
air. This will also help you in selecting the burner.
